When Zeyne sings, the room changes. The Palestinian-Jordanian artist from Amman has a voice with which she doesn’t just sing – she tells stories. Soul, R&B, hip-hop, jazz and Arabic music don’t feel like separate genres in her work, but rather like a single language she has always spoken.

Raised on her father’s record collection and a mother who sings and dances Dabke, music was never just a hobby Zeyne might one day pick up and later abandon. During the pandemic, she began posting covers and original songs online. The videos quickly spread and eventually led her, with her hit «Ma Bansak», to the renowned platform COLORSXSTUDIOS, introducing her to an international audience and earning her more than 50 million streams.

Her debut album «Awda» (Arabic for “return”) tells stories of memory, identity and the political realities of her Arab-Palestinian heritage. Zeyne moves between Arabic and English, between genres and moods, as naturally as her music shifts between traditional melodies and contemporary R&B.
