New: Obongjayar & Lime Garden confirmed

Unfortunately Genesis Owusu and The Snuts had to cancel their performance at Gurtenfestival 2023.

But we have very great replacements:

Obongjayar

Obongjayar knows how to get you grooving with his signature blend of Afrobeat, soul and electronic music. In his music, he delves deep into themes such as identity, culture and his migration background. With his full baritone voice and powerful lyrics, he takes you on an unforgettable journey. But wait, there’s more! Obongjayar is not only a musical genius, he is also an incredible visual artist. His stunning visuals add a whole new dimension to his music.

Obongjayar’s debut EP “Home” was critically acclaimed and he has collaborated with some of the biggest names in the industry, such as Kamasi Washington, Danny Brown and Richard Russell. With his innovative sound, he is sure to captivate the Güsche.

Lime Garden

Lime Garden, a vibrant and genre-defying band hailing from the seaside city of Brighton. Formerly known as simply “Lime,” they infuse their music with a unique energy that blends various sonic elements to create something truly original. Their sound is a delightful mishmash of post-punk, disco, pop, and surf, all imbued with a spirit that is uniquely their own. Lime Garden’s music is the epitome of alternative indie – fresh, exciting, and always pushing the boundaries of what’s possible. Lime Garden in a nutshell: A little bit of everything, but a lot of something special.
