Main Stage

They have been making music together for about 10 years, but everything changed in 2020 when the five guys from Rosenheim changed their name from “Maybe” to “KAFFKIEZ” and started releasing songs in German. The big radio stations and playlists immediately loved the straightforward indie rock from the south of Germany, followed by millions of streams, a sold out first tour and then the big stages of German festivals, where sweaty crowds inevitably go crazy for the energetic sound of this great live band. They themselves can hardly believe their rise from small concerts, which seemed to include every performance opportunity except weddings, to the dancing, singing masses of today. So it’s fitting that their debut album “Alles auf Anfang” was followed this year by their second album “Ekstase” – a name that’s just as suitable for this German indie fairy tale as it is for KAFFKIEZ’s enthusiastic audience, who will also be counting down to the Gurten: “5, 6, 7, 8, bin nie alleine in der Nacht”.
