Nemo

“Ke Bock”, “Du”, “Himalaya”, Nemo was not even 20 years old when he wrote these songs, which have long since become part of Switzerland’s cultural heritage. He became famous virtually overnight with his legendary Bounce Cypher performance in 2016, winning four Swiss Music Awards at the age of 18: Nemo has moved this country musically. And soon showed that borders and barriers are not Nemo’s thing. Moving from Biel to Berlin, living in Los Angeles for a while, releasing songs and an EP in English, writing and producing for other artists – Nemo’s flair for great pop songs soon found its own way out of the small dialect cosmos. Emotional lyrics dealing with topics such as gender identity, mental health and finding one’s place in this world and a contemporary pop sound that can compete internationally: Nemo will make the Waldbühne dance and sing.
