Gorillaz live on the mountain above Bern on 11th July 2018

According to the Guinness Book of Records, they are the world’s most successful virtual band, and they are returning to the mountain above Bern: Gorillaz! On Wednesday, 11th July 2018, vocalist 2D, bass player Murdoc Niccals, guitarist Noodle, and drummer Russel Hobbs will be performing as headliners on the main stage, accompanied by a band and a choir.

They’ll bring along their fifth studio album entitled “Humanz” which received star-studded support: De La Soul, Grace Jones, Pusha T and other musical greats did not want to miss out on being part of what might be called the biggest musical comeback of the year.

Ever since their first legendary hit, “Clint Eastwood”, Gorillaz’ sound has been a creative, electrifying mix of styles. On their latest album, “Humanz”, the band of Damon Albarn – who is also the musical mastermind behind the Britpop band Blur – and cartoon artist Jamie Hewlett are staying true to their unique mix of distinctive hip-hop beats, fine pop tunes, soul, and rock’n’roll. A musical work of art with spectacular visual effects is guaranteed.
