First acts & presale start
We are enormously pleased to announce the first acts for the 2023 anniversary edition. More to follow in the new year.
First acts confirmed
Bärn, are you ready for countless sing-along songs, sweat pouring out and an atmosphere for infinity? On Sunday evening, legendary German rockers Die Toten Hosen will honour the Gurten. Le festival se réjouit extraordinairement to welcome the Belgian pop voice Angèle. Talking of pop: hit after hit, always accompanied by media-effective and attention-grabbing outfits, video clips, campaigns, you name it – please welcome Lil Nas X! Back with a new album and in everyone’s hearts for “ingwer und ewig”: Lo & Leduc. Afterwards, the imaginary furniture will be thrown out of the window for an unparalleled Remmi-demmi, when Deichkind will perform some really good stuff. On Wednesday, the five-day festival will start in style with Wildberry Lillet and Nina Chuba. Badmòmzjay will hopefully not walk through the mud with her white Nikes, but onto the tent stage in the sunshine. Good times musical highs and dancing are guaranteed with Genesis Owusu. The six-piece disco/electropop band L’Impératrice and the electronic mastermind Caribou are no exception there either. German rapper Apache 207 has just sold out the Hallenstadion and conquered the hearts of many with his documentary. If you like RnB, pop and big voices, you couldn’t get around this name lately: Jacob Banks is also making a stop in Bern. Jeremias will present themselves on the funky indie side of music on Wednesday. BHZ, on the other hand, live a party, can’t complain and their path points steeply uphill!
Waldbühne
Whether great pop moments with Dana, a stormy home game with Nativ, singing along at the top of your voice with Steiner & Madlaina or a concentrated load of energy and dance with the self-titled Bombay Mami Tashan – at the Waldbühne many will get their musical money’s worth. There will certainly be dancing with the new Bernese project Birdman Jäggi, hopefully only an ocean of tears of joy will be shed by Veronica Fusaro, Cobee will provide musical surprises with a punk attitude and Hatepop will deliver the cultivated mixture of demolition, thoughtfulness and winking.
The day on which the Waldbühne bands will perform will be announced at a later date.
Presale starts now
The presale starts today at 12.00 via grtn23.ch/tix. As usual, 1-, 2-, 3- and 4-day passes will be available, in different combinations.
