Main Stage

858 m above sea level—that’s where they’ve played multiple times, most recently in 2023. Out of that legendary homecoming gig came the album “Live 858 m ü. M.”, released the following year. We’re, of course, talking about Lo & Leduc, the Bernese duo that has been shaping the Swiss music scene for the past 20 years.

Lorenz Häberli and Luc Oggier first met in the mid-2000s in the Swiss German ensemble Pacomé and released their debut album as Lo & Leduc in 2009 with “Update 1.0”. Back then, their sound was smart rap in Bernese German, powered by heavy beats. Over time, elements of pop, soul, and chanson found their way into their music—the hooks became catchier, and the clever wordplay in their lyrics more accessible.

With their massive hit “079” in 2018, they not only cemented their legendary status but also made Swiss music history: the song stayed at No. 1 on the Swiss charts for 21 weeks, setting a new record.

Now, in April, “KRISE ALS CHANSON” is set to drop—the duo’s first studio album in four years. Early singles sound promising, and the release show at Bierhübeli is already sold out (including the first of two additional shows). It was never a question that Lo & Leduc would also bring the new album to the Güsche: on Saturday, they’ll take the main stage. That their performance will be legendary once again is a given. And who knows—maybe another live album will follow.

Either way, from the heart we say: Wiukommä zrügg 🫶
