What a comeback! Lily Allen had more or less bid farewell to the music world—but in autumn 2025 she returned with “West End Girl”. And what a return it is.

Across 14 songs, she tells the story of her relationship with “Stranger Things” star David Harbour (yes, Hopper…) and its end. It’s the perfect break-up album: not exactly light fare, but Lily wraps her side of the story in brilliantly crafted pop—clever, uncompromising, distinctive, and forward-thinking.

Back in the late 2000s, her first two albums, “Alright, Still” and “It’s Not Me, It’s You”, helped define the sound of the MySpace generation. With her Mercury Prize–nominated 2018 album “No Shame” and her explosive memoir “My Thoughts Exactly”, she cemented her reputation as one of pop’s most influential and idiosyncratic voices. Afterwards, she stepped back—easing herself into the spotlight again only gradually, with theatre roles and a podcast. Now she’s fully returned with “West End Girl”!

The tour sold out instantly. Fortunately, Lily has added a few select extra shows—including an exclusive Swiss performance at the Gurtenfestival. And even though it’s her first gig on the Güsche, we say from the heart: Welcome back, Lily!
