“Often, it’s a moment of ‘I need to get something off my chest.’ Then it just flows,” says Jorina Stamm in an interview, describing the process of writing melodies and lyrics for Soft Loft’s songs. This statement reflects much of what defines the music of the collective from Brugg, Aargau: honest and genuine, raw and deeply heartfelt. In 2024, Soft Loft captured their creative essence in an album produced in collaboration with Grammy-nominated, Los Angeles-based producer Gianluca Buccellati (known for his work with Lana Del Rey and Arlo Parks). The result is The Party and the Mess, an indie-pop record that embraces a wide range of emotions. At times, the songs are melancholic; at others, they radiate pure joy. This emotional diversity is exactly what we can look forward to experiencing on the Waldbühne stage. Soft Loft’s concert promises to be authentic and full of feeling, a show that just flows.
