How much pressure can a rising star endure? Latin Grammy winner Nathy Peluso could write a song about it – or better yet, an entire album! After her debut Calambre skyrocketed in the Latin scene and achieved gold status in Spain, the expectations for the Argentina-born singer were simply enormous. Although she went on to write new songs and “play the game” in the music business, the results were missing that special something. So, back to square one! Peluso dared to start over and, on this second attempt, developed a clear vision: inspired by mafia films, 1970s New York salsa, and contemporary icons like Kendrick Lamar, she created GRASA. The result is a powerful piece of music, featuring contributions from artists like indie R&B superhero Blood Orange, who has worked with FKA Twigs and Solange Knowles in the past. Now, with no holds barred, Peluso is bringing GRASA to the stage – specifically, to our tent stage.
