Jeremias think funk is cool. That’s what the indie pop act from Hanover, founded in 2018, says themselves – and you can hear it. Or rather: you can feel it! The sound is infused with the grooviest traces of funk, never too dominant, but just enough to drive the whole thing abruptly into your legs. Jeremias, who already played as support band for Giant Rooks and OK Kid and accompanied Cro on his recent “Trip is (a)live” tour, orientate themselves towards the high summer temperatures and therefore do not provoke too big a binge, but rather chilled dance parties. “Golden Hour” is therefore the most perfect name the band could have chosen for their debut album in 2021. “Forever Feierabend” would also have done the trick.
