Hansruedi Egli, the musical renaissance man who has been on stages since he was a young boy: at the tender age of 24, he sang at the first Gurtenfestival in 1977 and worked behind the scenes on the organizing committee. With his subtle guitar playing and poetic songs that give insights into his philosophy of life, his concerts are like a refreshing breath. He even spices up the show with some fine instrumentals that you can’t help but tap your feet along to.

At almost 70, Egli’s life has been very varied, and music has always been his faithful companion. Although he had many gifts to discover, he now devotes himself entirely to his music in retirement. And with the recently released CD “Vom Cho, vom Si u Ga”, he will not slow down in the future. Before his retirement, Egli was a cultural driving force in the Bern region, often more in the background than on stage. This year, as a star, he lets the Güsche float in nostalgia.
