Yes, the Beatsteaks could just as well have called themselves Vollgas. Because that’s what you think of when you experience their stage shows. They are so energetic, so good-humoured and so intoxicating that you forget the longing for a ninth studio album (“Yours” was released in 2017), at least for a short moment.
