This year we say “good-bye” to long queues and “hello” to a new cashless system, and your “Cashless Card” will be the only accepted means of payment on the festival grounds. In exchange you’ll spend much less time queuing up at the bars and more time with the bands, in the dance tents, and with your friends. It works like this: at the wristband exchange you’ll receive your very own “Cashless Card”. If you registered beforehand under cashless.gurtenfestival.ch (recommended procedure) you’ll receive a card that is already in your name. If you didn’t register, you’ll receive a blank “Cashless Card” that you can top up at any Cash Point at the festival. Important: Click here www.gurtenfestival.ch/en/cashless for more information.
