Forum
Welcome to the Forum – the new stage at Gurtenfestival! Instead of music, this is where stories, ideas, and humor set the tone. Expect captivating live podcasts, inspiring panels, intimate interviews, sharp-witted comedy, and much more. In short: top-notch entertainment and a refreshing change of pace from the concert marathon. Here you can find the line-up.
Food & Beverage
On the festival grounds, you’ll find 14 bars offering a carefully curated selection of local drinks. With our site map, you’ll always know where to find what you’re looking for.

The selection varies slightly from bar to bar, but most offer a solid range of local soft drinks, non-alcoholic options, beer, wine, spritz variations, long drinks, and spirits. And of course, don’t miss out on our Festival Mug 2025 – the perfect way to be well-equipped.

Gurtenfestival x WILI WILI TREE
Practical, stylish, and seriously cool: this dry bag is the result of a special collaboration between Gurtenfestival and Wiliwilitree. Together, we’ve created a bag that not only looks great but also keeps your belongings reliably dry – whether you’re chilling by the Aare, dancing across the festival grounds, or heading off on a spontaneous adventure.
The dry bag comes in an exclusive Gurtenfestival design and is made from recycled materials. With its roll-top closure and durable fabric, everything inside stays protected from water, dust, and dirt. And because sustainability matters to us just as much as it does to you, the bag is produced fairly and in an eco-friendly way.
Gurtenfestival x Bazaar
The local Bernese studio, label and store Bazaar and the Gurtenfestival are teaming up for a small but fine and exclusive collection. Bazaar turned old festival plaids and T-shirts into new products. Gurtenfestival upcycled by Bazaar!
Pochette BagFrom the old Soundgarden panel we create a convertible bag, whether crossbody or not, you can store your most important gadgets for the festival and your everyday life.
Day PackThe old main stage panel is now your ideal shopping companion.
Bucket HatWhat should not be missing at the festival? Of course, a bucket hat. This one was made from old sheets from the main stage and the Soundgarden Dancetent. The mesh panel protects your head from the air.
BrillenbandYou can now attach your sunglasses to festival wristbands from 2023 so that they don’t get lost during the festival.
Phone Bag
This bag keeps your phone well protected – and it also doubles as a glasses case.
Feel Safe Together
Dear festival participants
We do not tolerate any form of discrimination, especially racism, sexism, queerophobia or violence. In order to make our festival as discrimination-sensitive as possible and to counteract power structures, we ask you to adhere to a few non-negotiable principles. If you experience or witness a violent or discriminatory situation or feel unsafe, please contact the Care Team, the security and stage staff or the first aid team at any time. You can reach the Care Team by phone on +41 31 386 10 90 (only during the festival days) as well as on site at the Care Point between the Waldbühne and the tent stage. You can reach the festival organization directly by phone (031 386 10 10) or by email (info@gurtenfestival.ch).

LOVE
Festivals are often seen as a place of «love» and «peace». Peace often also means compromise and an acceptance of the diversity of our society.

CONSENT
Every exchange requires mutual consent. The formula is simple: Only yes means yes.

UNITY
One mountain, one passion. Our roof is the sky of Bern.

RESPECT
The way you treat others is reflected in the way they treat you. Pay attention to yourself and everyone around you.

DIVERSITY
The Gurtenfestival stands for diversity, equality and inclusion.
Depot donation
As part of the 2025 depot donation initiative by the Gurtenfestival, the organization Glücksbringer is delighted to receive special support – and with it, many young people in urgent need of help.
The Glücksbringer association is dedicated to supporting children, adolescents, and young adults with mental health challenges, as well as their families undergoing treatment. Where conventional therapy options and financial means reach their limits, the organization steps in. Through targeted, individualized support, Glücksbringer creates new perspectives where uncertainty and overwhelm once prevailed.
Thanks to the Gurtenfestival’s 2025 depot donation, even more young people can now be accompanied on their journey toward recovery and self-determination. The donations will be used for:
Meaningful leisure activities such as music lessons or memberships in sports clubs to foster social connections and boost self-esteem.
Individual coaching sessions to improve quality of life and empowerment.
Personalized visits from our therapeutic clown.
Educational programs that promote professional and social integration and provide sustainable prospects for young people.
This valuable support means not only financial assistance for those affected, but most importantly: hope. Glücksbringer sincerely thanks the Gurtenfestival and all festival-goers who contribute through their depot donations – for greater quality of life, equal opportunities, and mental well-being.
Our deposit donation is a good deed in two ways: By returning reusable cups and dishes with a deposit, we help reduce waste – positively impacting the CO₂ footprint. Donating the deposit (CHF 2 per item) also enables us to support social organizations in the region.
We believe that sustainability means more than just environmental protection – it also includes social responsibility. That’s why every donated deposit goes to projects that, for example, promote community, strengthen inclusion, or help people facing difficult life situations.
In 2025, we are supporting the organization Glücksbringer. The association is dedicated to helping children, adolescents, and young adults with mental health issues, as well as their families who are undergoing treatment. The organization steps in where conventional therapy options and financial resources reach their limits. Through targeted, individualized support, it creates new perspectives where uncertainty and overwhelm previously prevailed. (More about it here).
In previous years, we have already been able to financially support the following organizations:
Verein Takiwatanga (2024)
The Takiwatanga association from Thun is working to make nightlife and cultural events more inclusive for people with disabilities. With events such as the Takiwatanga Disco, they create barrier-free spaces for connection, music, and joy.

café révolution (2023)
café révolution is a safer space in Bern – by and for BIPOC. Emerging from the 2020 BLM movement, it offers a place for empowerment, healing, education, and culture. Through exhibitions, readings, courses, and a library, it becomes a participatory and solidarity-driven space to combat anti-Black racism.
