She took her first steps as a singer-songwriter, then took a liking to electronic music – the result is a mixture that has brought Natascha Polké a lot of international attention. After an extended stay in London, the Swiss artist caused a stir with her debut EP “Stars Wrapped in Skin” (2021), released on the renowned label “Definition:Music” and mixed by Jan Blomqvist’s team in Berlin, and shortly afterwards landed an international hit with “Wildfire”. Releases on Anjunadeep, Stil vor Talent, Einmusika and Gardens of Babylon followed, as well as live shows in the hottest clubs from Ibiza and Mykonos to Amsterdam and Hamburg. Intimate, dreamy vocals over driving beats, melancholic soundscapes that tie in with her indie/ folk-pop background: it’s easy to get lost in this music, to dive in and out, to simply drift away.
