When Leila first took to the Gurtenfestival stage in 2021, she was still on tour with Jeans for Jesus – and people sang along to her hit “Gun To My Head” as if she was the real star of the show. Today, the song has around two million streams. And the Bernese is considered one of the country’s most promising artists. In 2023, Leila released her first EP “Burnout” on Herbert Grönemeyer’s renowned label Grönland Records, was named SRF 3’s Best Talent shortly after and went on her first club tour in Switzerland and Germany. Anyone who has seen her perform live at the packed Dachstock in Berne, for example, knows how this voice gets under your skin. This summer Leila finally returns to the Waldbühne and we will be singing along in the front row.
