Personalised ticket system and two ticket roll-outs
In order to counteract the sale of overpriced and forged tickets, all tickets to the Gurtenfestival 2016 will be personalised. This means that every ticket is associated with the first and last name of the respective festival visitor. In order to exchange the ticket for a Gurtenfestival wrist band, a valid ID bearing a photo and the date of birth must be presented (for example, identity card, driver’s license, SBB SwissPass, etc.).
Ticket delivery (or printing) will become possible approximately three weeks to the festival. Therefore there will be hardly any physical tickets in existence until just prior to the festival. It is still possible to print one’s own tickets without additional fees (Print at Home). Customers will be informed via email when their tickets are ready to be printed.
Each person may purchase up to six tickets (including “Rock The Hill” tickets). Tickets for the sleeping zone are not included in this quota.
All ticket purchasers will receive instructions regarding ticket personalisation and delivery from Starticket via email.
